Ensure Team Effectiveness

Welcome Flexible Learning Environment students!
This blog was originally set up for TAFE students studying "Ensure Team Effectiveness" in their Diploma of Business Administration. However these students seem to be using the Wiki created for them instead of this blog.

"Podcasts and Wikis turn cafes into lecture halls" The Age

http://www.theage.com.au/national/podcasts-and-wikis-turn-cafes-into-lecture-halls-20100410-rzye.html> says that while the time spent at university lectures may be decreasing, the overall participation rate of students in their learning is increasing. This is due in part to the easier access to learning through tools such as podcasts and wikis.
The use of podacsts and wikis by students is driven by student demand with factors such as: students needing to be employed longer hours to support their studies; an increase in participation of people from non-traditional backgrounds and regional students.
This type of elearning seems to support student learning and back up the traditional lecture and tutorial system at universities.
